1. Who is behind ZIDELE? ZIDELE/ZDL (Zimbabwe Development Leaders) political party is a new party under formation.The political party is Zimbabwean academic, philanthropist, activist ,human rights defender -freedom of expression campaigner and protest singer Viomak’s brainchild.Since 2001 she has been protesting against bad governance in Zimbabwe using music as a form of campaigning tool.Viomak continues to be a socio-political activist and human rights defender whose music is banned in Zimbabwe.She implemented the idea of forming a political party which she had too ,in July 2010 after a Zimbabwean journalist suggested to her that with her great work and passion for Zimbabwe ,a polical party could make her realise the Zimbabwe she is always campaigning for.Since then ZIDELE has started building structures mapping a way for a campaign that will allow the party to officially launch and become one of Zimbabwe 's opposition parties. 2. When will ZIDELE officially launch? There is no date set yet for official launch.ZIDELE is still at foundation stage and is working hard to have some structures built before officially launching.The party is operating in such a way that by the time it launches it will be having a sound support base. 3.
